How do I remove Copilot Preview from my Edge home page?

I launched my Edge browser today and at the top right of the screen was "Copilot Discover Preview" instead of the temperature which is what I prefer. How do I get rid of this and get my temperature back and why does my home page get changed without my changing ? Turning the Copilot Preview off does not get rid of it.

Thank you

I did it,but I'm not sure if I did it correctly. Your instructions stated, if Edge isn't there (which naturally it wasn't) to "Create it". So the next thing I did was : Create DWORD (32-bit):- HubsSidebarEnabled = 0

    • Is that what I had to do next or was there something else required to "create Edge"? What I did didn't work and before I even read that email I had I Uninstalled the Co Pilot App and THAT didn't do it. It's an Entity. Get the Team on it.

HARD-disable Copilot. This is the single most important fix.

Registry (works on Windows 11 Home & Pro)

    Win + R → regedit

    Go to:

    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge

If Edge doesn’t exist, create it

    Create DWORD (32-bit):

    • HubsSidebarEnabled = 0

    Restart Windows

This permanently disables Copilot, hover panels, and sidebar popups. Updates cannot turn it back on.

Also, we can no longer "reply" to a comment? Just post random responses?
