Microsoft Account Hacked – Unable to Recover Account

Hi,

A few months ago, my Microsoft account was hacked after I filled out a fake verification form. Unfortunately, I am still using the same laptop that was linked to that Microsoft account before the incident.

Since the hacker changed my password and account information, Microsoft keeps asking me to sign in again. However, when I click Manage Account as instructed, it shows a completely different account name and email address instead of mine.

I had recently purchased Minecraft on that Microsoft account before it was hacked, so I no longer have access to the game either.

Could you please help me recover my Microsoft account: ******@gmail.com?

For your reference, the hacker changed everything, including my password and account name. My original account name started with d****, but it has now been changed to j****, as I recently checked.

Could you also let me know what the solution is for this kind of problem? Is there any way for me to recover my account or remove the hacker's account from my laptop?

    I'm sorry you are experiencing this.

    Based on your description, the hacker was able to remove the account's security info and replace it with their own email address.

    Since the security info has been replaced by the hacker, I'm afraid there is no other working method to recover the Microsoft account, and Microsoft Support cannot help either.
