picture password is not showing but the other problem if I want to fix the picture option , in which option I will fix it , the recommended additional option is also not showing

Hi,

I believe the picture password option in the GUI was recently removed in Windows 11, as multiple reports have been seen in the last 2 months.

Try the following, please:

Also do you have any Work or school account on the PC?

If Picture password is not showing in Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options, that can happen when work email accounts were added to the Mail app or the PC joined a network domain. In that case, picture password and some other sign-in options may not be available.

To check where the setting would normally appear:

Open Start.
Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
On Windows 11, look under Ways to sign in for Picture password, PIN (Windows Hello), or Security key.

If the password icon is missing on the lock screen, there is a known issue after certain 2025 updates where the icon may be invisible. The password option can still be there as a blank placeholder:

On the lock screen, move the pointer over the area where the password sign-in option should appear.
Select the blank placeholder.
The password box should open, and sign-in can continue normally.

That issue is addressed in KB5074105.

If the goal is to set up or restore picture password and the option is completely absent, first check whether the device has a work account or domain connection, because that can prevent the option from appearing.
