Hi Sujith reddy,
Thank you for explaining what happened. I understand you're seeing the message "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN", but the Set up my PIN option does not open. I also see that you reset your Microsoft account password on your phone, but you're still unable to sign in to the laptop.
First, please make sure the laptop is connected to the internet from the sign-in screen. If the device is offline, Windows may still be trying to use your old cached password rather than the new one you recently created.
If you're able to see the Wi‑Fi icon in the lower-right corner of the sign-in screen, connect to your network and then try signing in using your new Microsoft account password.
If that doesn't help, please let me know:
- Are you using Windows 10 or Windows 11?
- Is this a Microsoft account (Outlook, Hotmail, Live, etc.) or a local account?
- What happens when you enter the new password? Do you receive an incorrect password message or a different error?
- Are you able to access the Power button on the sign-in screen and restart the device?
Please let me know the results, I'll be happy to help further.
