Configuring preferences and options in Outlook on the web for business
Hi Risla,
I'm sorry to hear that your users are experiencing slow performance with the new Outlook for Windows.
Regarding your question, Intune Endpoint Analytics does not currently provide application launch-time metrics, such as measuring how long Outlook takes to open. Endpoint Analytics focuses on application reliability and stability, including crashes, usage duration, and Mean Time to Failure (MTTF), rather than startup latency. For more details, please refer to Application Reliability Report in Endpoint Analytics - Microsoft Intune | Microsoft Learn.
For investigating slow startup or navigation in the new Outlook, Microsoft recommends collecting an Outlook Performance Trace, which is the most reliable way to analyze responsiveness and startup-related issues.
My recommendation is to combine Endpoint Analytics data (startup performance, resource utilization, and application reliability) with Outlook Performance Traces and user feedback. This will provide stronger evidence when assessing the impact of New Outlook performance, as there is currently no dedicated launch-latency metric available in Endpoint Analytics
