A Tax Certificate of Residency for Microsoft (for example, Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited) is not publicly downloadable for all years. To obtain the specific 2026 certificate needed for company tax purposes, an official support or billing request must be submitted so a Microsoft billing engineer can provide it directly.

For Microsoft 365 for business or other commercial services, use the appropriate admin/support channel (such as the Microsoft 365 admin center or your usual Microsoft billing/support contact) and request the 2026 Tax Residency/Tax Residence Certificate for the relevant Microsoft legal entity your company contracts with.

If the organization is setting Microsoft up as a vendor in Accounts Payable, commonly used tax forms and existing Certificates of Tax Residency for certain entities and years are listed in the “Set up common tax forms” documentation. For example, Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (MIOL) tax residence certificates for 2023 and 2024 are available there, but later-year certificates (such as 2026) must be requested through official support.
