BBC Studios Productions has appointed Optomen alum Mel Bezalel to lead its new central development and design team beginning in June.

The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, a continuation of The Amazing World of Gumball, arrives on Cartoon Network's international channels and Hulu in the U.S. later this year.
