The 2024-25 NBA season officially came to an end for the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night. Aaron Gordon was not happy about it. The Nuggets were blown out in a one-sided 125-93 ball game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night. The Thunder were able to grab control of the game in the second quarter, and they kept pouring it on from there.

Aaron Gordon identified one way in which his team could have been better suited to knock off the No. 1 seed during his postgame commentary and it bucked the conventional wisdom that the NBA playoffs are too spaced out.

And then, on Sunday, Aaron Gordon played through a hamstring injury as the Denver Nuggets were eliminated by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Gordon suffered that injury on Thursday night in Game 6. He played again roughly 60 hours later on Sunday afternoon.
