"Motorsports Christmas" takes place this weekend with three prestigious races on tap. Here's a preview for the Monaco GP, Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600.

INDIANAPOLIS – It’s time for the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500. Hundreds of thousands of fans will pack the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday to see the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”

Christopher Bell earned the all-star win after taking the lead from Joey Logano with 9 laps to go. Rookie Robert Shwartzman shocked the field by winning the Indy 500 pole position.

Indianapolis 500 will take place on Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, as The Great American Race celebrates its 109th running.

Schwartzman will be flanked on the front row by two-time Indy 500 champion Takuma Sato and last year's runner-up Pato O'Ward. Sato is one of three former champions who will start in the first three rows, with 2008 winner Scott Dixon in fourth and 2022 champion Marcus Ericsson in ninth.

With the NASCAR Cup Series staying in its backyard this weekend for the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, drivers will be looking to add their names to the illustrious list of winners in the signature race.
