A Baltimore County police officer has been identified​ in the shooting that killed 43-year-old Glenn Pettie during a mental health crisis on Sunday, May 18.

The IID, which is tasked with examining fatal police encounters, said the investigation into the circumstances of the shooting is ongoing.

Tyler Tunstalle died Monday after injuries sustained after being shot near Hollins Ferry and Lansdowne roads on May 14, police said.
