Avengers, 1 Superman, and 2 of both Spider-Man and Batman films have ruled the box office as the most successful superheroes.

When Avengers: Endgame came out, it felt like we were on top of the world. It was 2019, Marvel was undoubtedly at its peak, and some of the best Marvel films were released during that time. After the ending of this iconic film, which went on to become one of the biggest movies ever, many fans wondered what would happen next in the MCU.

The MCU has established a perfect scenario to justify the return of the Hulk's original form after years of the Smart Hulk taking center stage.

In March, it was announced that several original Avengers star will return for the new film, including Chris Hemsworth as Thor; Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon; Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier; Tom Hiddleston as Loki; and Paul Rudd as Ant-Man.

While he may not have spent a lot of time suiting up in super suits, Michael Douglas played an important role in the MCU as Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man and mentor to both Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and his daughter Hope (Evangeline Lily). Douglas starred in all three "Ant-Man" films and also appeared in "Avengers: Endgame".

Endgame was worthy of an Oscar. It’s rare for a superhero movie to make its way onto award ballots, let alone to actually win. As successful as Avengers: Endgame was at the box office, the Oscars still didn’t recognize it for any of its award categories.

The new poster, created by artist Eileen Steinbach of SG Posters, shows silhouettes of the Thunderbolts standing in a line. However, below, their shadows resemble The Avengers. Hawkeye’s shadow stands underneath Ghost, Hulk below Red Guardian, Black Widow below Yelena, Iron Man below Bucky, Captain America below John, and Thor below Bob.

Speaking to Omelete, Russo brothers hinted these films will conclude the Multiverse Saga and introduce a “new beginning” for the MCU’s next exciting chapters. Despite delays, the future still looks very promising.
