In it's current form, Android 16 for TV looks almost identical to Android 14, with only slight visual tweaks in the Settings menu.
One of the more recent Android 16 leaks suggests that Google is actually going to redesign Android 16 with something called "Material Expressive 3." This information (and imagery) about the new design came from one of Google's own leaks, which suggests this is actually happening at some point.
Google I/O 2025 takes place over May 20 and May 21, but the main event is the Google keynote, which starts at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST, which is 3am on May 21 for those in the AEST time zone.
