Taiwan's Foxconn , the world's largest contract electronics maker, said on Tuesday an artificial intelligence center it has announced with Nvidia will be built in phases and is targeted to have 100 megawatts of power.

New software called DGX Cloud Lepton will be run by Nvidia to connect developers to available collections of GPUs running at Nvidia partners' cloud computing facilities. The Lepton system acts as a marketplace where developers of artificial intelligence can look up providers such as SoftBank, CoreWeave, and Nscale that have available GPU capacity.

Using Nvidia’s Blackwell GPUs and AI infrastructure from a Foxconn subsidiary, the supercomputer is set to assist Taiwanese researchers and enterprises, including TSMC.
