Tuesday will begin with warm and muggy conditions with the heat index likely never dropping below 80 overnight. That heat index will climb quickly with those values topping out in the upper 90s to near 100 degree range. A weak cold front will move into SWLA late in the day into the evening and this could produce a few showers.
The weather pattern stays mostly dry and mild for the next couple of days, but we are tracking our next weather system by midweek.

We remain under an ABC-7 First Alert as Pacific storm system passes by bringing another day of strong gusty winds, and blowing dust. We are not in the clear just yet, winds and dust will return again today.
It is not unusual to see frost in the early mornings this time of year. In fact, the First Alert meteorologists are forecasting the potential for frost tonight, between 2 AM and 8 AM. The main concern is for tender,
