New York Mets slugger Juan Soto eventually ended up at second base after a leadoff hit in the sixth inning on Monday, but how he got there displeased his manager.

As Soto loafed out of the batter’s box, the ball caught the top of the wall, and he was left with a long single. After the 3-1 Mets loss to the Red Sox, New York’s manager Carlos Mendoza wasn’t pleased.
