Using a Raspberry Pi mini PC as the core Srivishnu has been able to create his smart mirror for less than $80. This includes creating your very own wooden framework.

If not, you can install it and turn it on by opening up Terminal on your Raspberry Pi and typing in a few commands: Type in sudo apt-get update and press Enter.

Any Raspberry Pi will work, although [Nathan] uses a Pi B+. Although he managed to score a free one-way mirror from a local glass shop, you can buy one for about $13.
