The official Arduino development team have this week announced the free download of its Arduino Create app for Chrome classrooms.

However, as the video above shows, you can also create your own simple apps for your Arduino project using MIT App Inventor.

The build uses an Arduino, an LCD, and a bunch of different connectors. It's a well made little box, and Cmonoco's guide comes with everything you need to know.
