You can make a line graph in Excel in a matter of seconds using data already entered into the spreadsheet.
Launch Excel and open the spreadsheet with the chart you want to edit. Click to select the chart on which you want to highlight the intervals.
To generate the chart, select the data, click the Insert tab, click the Line option in the Charts group, and select the first (and simplest) option. In Excel 2003, choose Chart from the Insert menu.
