The latest development build of Google's Chrome web browser now offers better drag-and-drop file uploading tools for more desktop-like web apps.
To use the drag-and-drop feature in Windows 11 Taskbar, just select and hold the file from either the desktop or File Explorer and then drop it into the app you wish the file to be opened with.
Google Chrome, however, lets you drag and drop files into any window to upload them, even when it isn't a feature of the webapp you're using.
Google continues to use HTML5 to push its web apps into the future. The latest bit of HTML5 to feel Google’s love is drag-and-drop support, which is now a standard part of Gmail.
The HTML5-powered webapp will then give you a window to which you can drag and drop any files you want, and they'll automatically appear on your phone, ready for use.
