A New York firefighter and lifelong Indiana Pacers fan had garbage thrown at him Friday by Knicks fans who were celebrating in the streets.

Indiana Pacers fan Hans Perez has had a rollercoaster of a week so far. Days after Perez was seen getting heckled and bullied by New York Knicks fans near Madison Square Garden following the Knicks' Eastern Conference semifinal series win over the Boston Celtics, he received a special message from Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton himself.

A few days after the Indiana Pacers clinched their spot in the Eastern Conference Finals, one bold fan decided to test how far his luck would go by wearing his Pacers jersey around the streets of New York after the Knicks clinched their spot in the ECF on Friday night.
