Get started with Customer Service Community

The Customer Service Community app helps your organization invite customer suggestions and crowdsource ideas to shape the future of the products they use.

Note

To install Customer Service Community, you must have a Dynamics 365 organization and ensure that the organization tenant has at least one Customer Service Enterprise license. For information about licensing, refer to the Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide.

Install Customer Service Community

Complete the following steps:

  1. Go to the Microsoft Marketplace Dynamics 365 Customer Service Community download page.

  2. Select Get it now, and then sign in with your Dynamics System Admin account.

  3. Select the environment where you want to install Customer Service Community, accept the terms, and then select Install.

Provision a Modern Community website

  1. Confirm that Customer Service Community is successfully installed in the previous procedure.
  2. Go to Power Pages, and then select the environment where you installed Customer Service Community.
  3. Go to the Templates tab, and then select the Dynamics 365 tab.
  4. Select Modern Community > Choose this template.
  5. Select Done. Site provisioning typically takes a few minutes. When it completes, it displays in the Active Sites list under Home.

When your Modern Community website is created, you can view the Community home page by going to https://<name>.powerappsportals.com/d365community.
