Summarize recommendations with Microsoft Security Copilot

Microsoft Defender for Cloud works with Microsoft Security Copilot. You can use this feature to summarize recommendations and better understand risks in your environment.

When you summarize a recommendation, you get a quick overview in plain language. The summary helps you learn what the recommendation means and decide what to fix first.

Prerequisites

• Enable Defender for Cloud on your environment.

• Have access to Azure Copilot.

• Have Security Compute Units assigned for Microsoft Security Copilot.

Summarize with Copilot

Select a recommendation, then use Copilot to summarize it. You can enter prompts to learn more and decide what to do next.

1. Sign in to the Azure portal.

2. Search for and select Microsoft Defender for Cloud.

3. Go to Recommendations.

4. Select a recommendation.

5. Select Summarize with Copilot.

   

6. Review the provided summary.

7. Enter more prompts as needed.

   

When you understand the recommendation, decide how to handle it. Copilot stays open so you can enter other prompts as needed.
