Hi everyone, I still have Windows 10, and missed all Windows 11 updates. How can I now upgrade to Windows 11?

Please check, if you get This PC meets Windows 11 requirements with PC Health Check app, then you can use Windows 11 Installation Assistant which you can download from here:

Alternatively, you can try manual upgrade using ISO file. Follow these steps:

Download Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft website.
Double click on it to mount it to a DVD drive.
Then go to DVD drive, double click on setup.exe to proceed.
Follow on-screen instructions to complete upgrade.

First, could you check these two things?

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. Does it say your PC is eligible for Windows 11, or that it does not meet the requirements?
If it says the PC is not compatible, what reason does it give? You can also run Microsoft’s PC Health Check app to see which requirement is failing.

If the PC is compatible, you can normally upgrade directly through Windows Update. Microsoft also provides the Windows 11 Installation Assistant if the upgrade is not being offered automatically.

Let me know what Windows Update or PC Health Check says, and we can go from there.

To upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11:

Check that the PC is eligible:
- The device must be running a currently supported version of Windows 10.
- For direct upgrade through Windows Update, Windows 10 version 2004 or later is required.
- Run the PC Health Check app and select Check now to confirm compatibility.
Back up important files before starting. The upgrade is designed to keep files, apps, and settings, but a backup is still recommended.
Try the standard upgrade path:
- Open Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Select Check for updates.
- If the PC is eligible, look for the Upgrade to Windows 11 offer and select Download and install.
If Windows 11 is not offered in Windows Update, use one of these methods:
- Windows 11 Installation Assistant: download the tool from Microsoft, run it as administrator, and follow the prompts.
- Installation media / ISO: create Windows 11 installation media, then in Windows 10 run setup.exe from the media or mounted ISO. Choose Keep personal files and apps if the goal is to retain data.
During installation, the PC will restart several times.

Common blockers:

TPM 2.0 not detected: enable TPM/PTT/fTPM in BIOS/UEFI.
Secure Boot disabled: switch to UEFI mode and enable Secure Boot in BIOS/UEFI.
Not enough storage: free space with Disk Cleanup, remove temporary files, and uninstall unused apps.

By default, files and data are moved to the new Windows 11 installation, and most software and accessories that worked with Windows 10 are expected to work with Windows 11.
