Secure Score Not Refreshing After Completed Recommendations Since 03-Aug-2026 Resulting in Incorrect ASC Score

Hello Team,

We are experiencing an issue with the Microsoft Defender for Cloud (ASC Secure Score) not reflecting completed remediation actions.

Subscription Name - Customer Success Services

Issue Summary:

• We remediated the following Secure Score recommendations on 03-Aug-2026:
  1. Remediate vulnerabilities (Potential score increase: +14%)
  2. Remediate security configurations (Potential score increase: +2%)
  The recommendations are currently showing a status of "Completed" in the Azure Portal. More than 72 hours have elapsed since remediation was completed. However, the Secure Score remains at 78% and has not been refreshed or recalculated to reflect the completed recommendations.

Evidence Observed:

• "Remediate vulnerabilities" shows Completed, but the current score remains 0/6 and still indicates a +14% potential score increase.
• "Remediate security configurations" shows Completed, but the score has not been updated despite all associated recommendations being remediated.

Business Impact: Our organization is required to maintain an ASC Secure Score above 90% as part of our security compliance requirements. Due to the score not being updated after successful remediation, we are currently unable to demonstrate compliance against the required threshold.

Request: Could you please investigate the backend Secure Score calculation/refresh process and prioritize assistance in correcting the Secure Score? Additionally, please confirm:

• Whether the recommendations have been fully processed by the Secure Score engine.
• If there is any issue preventing score recalculation.
• Whether a manual refresh or backend reprocessing is required.
