Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Ricky
The AI answer has already provided several useful troubleshooting steps. If those steps do not resolve the issue, I suggest creating a new Outlook profile to check whether the current profile is corrupted:
- Close Outlook completely.
- Hold the Shift key while starting Outlook. Alternatively, press Windows key + R, enter
Outlook.exe /profiles, and select OK. - Select Options > New, then create a profile and add the email account.
- Try opening Outlook with the new profile.
If Outlook opens normally, the original profile is likely damaged. Please do not remove the original profile yet, especially if it contains locally stored PST data that has not been backed up.
Microsoft’s instructions are available here: Create an Outlook profile
Please feel free to let me know how things go. Thank you for your time
