Hello! i have a massive performance issue on my laptop : i have pretty good specs but my games run of very low fps even with lowest possible settings ( minecraft , roblox ) i have around 100 fps , but the problem can be somehow kind of fixed but never permanently , and only works with minecraft. basically how i fix the issue is like this : i right click the top bar when it is windowed , wait a few seconds then spam f11 to make it fullscreen. it works only sometimes ( after 50 tries ) and i have no ideea what the problem is , i asked this question again but i got no answer , just BS. i can screenshare my screen to show the problem but i won't record! Once my problem is fixed i get 300-400 fps ( not the best ). it isn't a drivers issue probably , graphics , priority. i have no ideea how to fix!

my specs
RTX 4050 Laptop
I5 13th gen
144hz
16gb ram
512 gb storage
msi laptop

Please help!!

    Welcome nuhuh xd,

I understand how frustrating it can be when your laptop is experiencing unusually low FPS in games despite having an RTX 4050, Intel Core i5 13th Gen processor, and 16 GB RAM, and that performance temporarily improves when repeatedly switching between windowed and fullscreen mode.

For now, please try these tests:

    • Right-click the game's executable file (Minecraft Launcher or javaw.exe for Minecraft).
    • Select Properties > Compatibility
    • Check Disable fullscreen optimizations
    • Select Change high DPI settings and check Override high DPI scaling behavior, then choose Application > OK

Then restart the game and test again.

    If the problem remains:

    • Open Settings > System > Display > Graphics
    • Add the game if it is not already listed.
    • Select the game > Options
    • Choose High performance (the RTX 4050) and save.

I hope the steps above help you deal with your issue.
