How do I add a family member and her MacBook Pro to my account so she can access Office?

To share your Microsoft 365 Family subscription, please can you sign into your account here: https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365/details#billing

Once you have signed into your account, please can you scroll down and click onto "Share"

Please then enter their email address and click send. This will send the invite to their account. They will need to sign into their account and follow the steps on creating a Microsoft account using their Apple ID.

Once they have done this, they will be added to the subscription and will be able to download the Microsoft Office apps onto their Mac. From experience, they must follow the setup and create the Microsoft account. It may be that they have to follow the link twice.

To give a family member access to Office through Microsoft 365 Family, add her to the family group first, then share the subscription with her account.

Sign in with the subscription owner account at the Microsoft 365 sharing page: https://account.microsoft.com/services/office/sharing
Select Start sharing or Share.
If she is not already in the family group, send her an invitation by Email invite or Create link.
She must open the invitation, select Accept, then Join now to join the family group.
If she is already in another Microsoft family group, she must leave that group before joining yours.
After accepting, she can start using Microsoft 365 on her MacBook Pro by selecting Start using Microsoft 365 apps, then Install, and following the prompts.

Important details:

Microsoft 365 Family can be shared with up to five other people.
For Microsoft 365 Family, sharing works only after the invitee joins the subscription owner’s family group.
The invitation must be accepted within 48 hours; during that time it shows as Pending invite.
AI benefits are only available to the subscription owner and cannot be shared.

If the family member has not yet been added to the family group separately, a family organizer can also add her at family.microsoft.com by selecting Add a family member, choosing Member or Organizer, and entering her email address or phone number.
