I discovered a bug with windows update with my shop software CD collection of OnDemand5 which helps me troubleshoot vehicles wire diagrams for my business. This windows update that I have narrowed down has cause the Adobe SVG 3.0 thats used to display the wire wire diagrams will no longer show text in the SVG image file within that software. I uninstall the windows update 2026-07 Security Update (KB5101650) (26200.8875) and everything works again as it should. I checked my system for any corruption using these commands;
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
sfc /scannow
Nothing shows up as an issue and shows no corruption. Unfortunately OnDemand now has gone cloud based with a monthly subscription instead of using the CD's that I used since 2005 that I purchased from a shop that closed down. I would do the online subscription with ondemand/prodemand but I cant justify the cost vs how much I actually use it.
I wanted to bring up this issue and maybe let Adobe know as well if they can update the SVG application that seems to be abandoned by adobe long ago. If anyone else has this Issue please report it to microsoft. In Ondemand5 I can see the wire diagram wires image just absolutely no text.
