Is this a legit site for update software. The version number there is newer. I ran across this when out of the blue I started getting that SAW message and I found you needed an older version (which I have yet to find) to use on a company system. Been using MWOB for who knows how many years and never encountered that.

AFAIK, this is not an official Microsoft site, but rather an independent informational and resource page - so "use at your own risk" disclaimer applies in this case

If you're looking for the legitimate source of PowerToys software, refer to https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys . That's where you can also raise issues related to their usage

That worked, but led me to the same state that started me down this rabbit hole. I disconnected because I was not able to resize windows. I could move and click on things and drag them. My mouse pointer changed. So I am back to that state. But at least I am reconnected. I dont understand what could of changed behind the scenes. Has to be some admin \ policy change. Makes sense since I had that SAW message. Guess I need to find a new way or used the old way of a USB hub\kvm. :(

I would check with administrators and ask them to help on this issue. Probably they introduced new security policies and MWB is blocked or restricted.

I guess I should open a new thread if someone else is running into same issue. I tried all settings an no joy. I went down to troubleshooting section on both systems and clicked the "Add firewall.." and no I am back to normal. I did it on both systems. I would reach out to support, but they may be like that's not supported. Thanks everyone!

Maybe you could try on 2 fresh PCs (your colegues). Just to isolate the problem. Let me know, pls.
