I am trying to connect my Wacom Cintiq's display 16 to my Dell computer

. How do I make the surface recognize the Cintiq as a valid display. I changed multiple cables, the device turns on, I can see Wacon, display port 1, then NO signal. No matter how many times I downloaded the drives, changed cables, nothing makes the device be recognized

    I understand how frustrating this can be when the Cintiq powers on but Windows does not detect it as a display.

    To help narrow this down further, could you provide:

    • The exact Dell computer model
    • Whether the Cintiq 16 is connected via HDMI, DisplayPort, or an adapter
    • Whether the Cintiq works correctly when connected to another computer

    In the meantime, it sounds like Windows may not be detecting the Cintiq as a second monitor even though the tablet itself is receiving power. As a first step, please check the following:

    1. Press Windows + P and select "Extend".
    2. Open "Settings" > "System" > "Display" and click "Detect" under Multiple displays.
    3. Verify whether the video cable from the Cintiq is connected directly to the graphics output that is actively used by the PC (especially if the Dell computer has both motherboard and dedicated graphics ports).
    4. Open "Device Manager" > "Monitors" and let me know whether the Cintiq appears there, even with a warning icon.
