HOW DO I CHANGE MY PHONE NUMBER ON MYACCOUNT

If this is a personal Microsoft account, you can update your phone number as follows:

1. Sign in to your Microsoft account.
2. Go to Your info → Manage how you sign in to Microsoft.
3. Select Add phone number and verify the new number.
4. If you use the phone number to sign in, select Make primary for the new number.
5. After the new number is verified, remove the old number if desired.

If the phone number is used for security verification (2FA/MFA):

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Go to Security → Advanced security options.
3. Select Add a new way to sign in or verify.
4. Add and verify the new phone number, then remove the old one if appropriate.
