It appears that you are experiencing a known issue that prevents Office from opening. The good news is that the issue has been resolved. Please refer to the following article for the recommended fix steps: Unknown Error 0x0 or License not found error in Microsoft 365 or Office running on macOS.
One important requirement to note is that your Mac must be running macOS 12 (Monterey) or later. If you are using an earlier version of macOS, please update the operating system first; otherwise, the fix may not work as expected.

What version of Microsoft Office do you have, is that a subscription to Microsoft 365 or a standalone version of Office like Office 2019, 2021 or 2024.

At the top left of your Desktop, click the Apple icon and select 'About this Mac', what version of MacOS is installed on your computer?
