    Hi, @Carolynn Klees

Does this happen on all websites or only certain ones?

Please click Advanced on the warning page and share the exact error code, such as NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID or NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID. Do not continue to the website for now.

Also check that the date, time, and time zone on the computer are correct. Then restart Edge and test again.

Did this start after installing an antivirus, VPN, Windows update, or changing your internet connection? Please also type winver in Windows Search and share the version and build number shown.

"This connection is not private" means that the transmission between you and the website has poor encryption or no encryption at all, so anyone can read the information you are sending or receiving. It's not safe to visit a website under those circumstances.

This is a problem that the website has to solve. The website sets up the connection. It's very unlikely that you can do anything about it. You should make sure your computer's date and time are accurate. You can try again after clearing your browser's cache and cookies. You can avoid the problem by weakening your browser's security protection, but that's never a good idea.
