    Dear @Paul Fitch,

    I hope you’re having a good day.

If your goal is to get hands-on experience with Business Central before a job interview, the most practical approach is to sign up for a Business Central trial environment. Microsoft does not provide a public demo system that can be accessed directly without registration, but trial environments are intended for evaluation, learning, and familiarization with the product. Business Central trial environments typically include sample data that can be used to explore common business processes such as finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, and reporting.

    You can start here:

One thing to be aware of is that trial registration may require account verification and, depending on the registration flow, Microsoft may ask for information such as a phone number or organization details. This can sometimes be a challenge for individuals who are not currently associated with a company, but the Business Central trial remains the primary Microsoft-supported route for obtaining a learning environment.

In addition to the trial environment, Microsoft Learn offers free Business Central learning paths that can help you prepare for interviews and become familiar with the platform's features and terminology:

I hope this information helps you get started with Business Central and prepare for your interview. If you need further assistance or have any related questions, please feel free to reply.

    Warm regards,
