    Dear @Gina Brosnan,

If Microsoft Teams is installed on your Windows 11 device but does not appear in your Start menu or search results, it usually means the application shortcut was not registered correctly in your user profile, or the app is running in the background.

Here are two quick ways to locate and pin the Teams app to your taskbar:

Option 1: Pin while the app is running

    1. Open Microsoft Teams (if it opens automatically at startup or via a link/notification).
    2. Look at your Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
    3. Right-click the Microsoft Teams icon on the taskbar.
    4. Select Pin to taskbar.

Option 2: Locate the app in Windows Settings

    1. Press Windows Key + I to open Settings.
    2. Go to Apps > Installed apps.
    3. Search for Microsoft Teams.
    4. Click the three dots next to Microsoft Teams and select Advanced options.
    5. If the shortcut is missing from your system, scroll down and click Repair. If that does not resolve it, click Reset.
    6. Once repaired, search for "Teams" in the Start menu, right-click it, and select Pin to taskbar.

Please refer to this document: Repair an Office application | Microsoft Support

Option 3: Re-register the shortcut via Windows Search

    1. Press Windows Key + S and type Teams.
    2. If it appears under best match or Apps, right-click the icon and choose Pin to taskbar.

If the app still does not appear in your installed apps list, you may be using the web version or a light executable. You can download the official desktop client directly from Download Teams Desktop and Mobile Apps | Microsoft Teams

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
