i removed KB888111 patch from my Windows 2000 computer

Before proceeding, could you please confirm: 

• Does Device Manager show any unknown devices or missing audio devices under Sound, video and game controllers? 
• What is the audio chipset in your Paragon TT (for example, Realtek, C-Media, Conexant, etc.)? 

This product has been EOS, please try the workaround steps below to troubleshoot the issue:  

Option 1: Confirm that Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 is installed.   

• Right-click My Computer and select Properties 
• Verify that Service Pack 4 is listed 

Option 2: Reinstall the original audio driver from the computer or motherboard manufacturer.  

Option 3: Obtain the KB888111 UAA driver package

• Microsoft documented KB888111 as the Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) High Definition Audio class driver for Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003.

Option 4: Reinstall the audio driver after the UAA component is installed. 

• Restart the computer after installation 
• Open Device Manager and scan for hardware changes 

Option 5: If the audio device still appears with a yellow exclamation mark:  

• Note the Hardware ID from Device Manager 
• Share the Hardware ID in your reply so a more specific driver source can be identified
