I'm have problem in outlook 2016 after windows update patch july 2016

If so, why are you posting your patch list?

2 -- Not sure I understand the patch list you provided. You said "after windows update patch july 2016" but then you listed a 2026-07 Security Update. Was this just a typo? The bug showed up after the 2026-07 Security Update (KB5101650)?

I don't doubt you, but I'm not seeing any other reports that KB5101650 broke images in Classic Outlook (again).

All I can suggest:

Office Outlook Repair

Test with a new Outlook Profile
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/create-an-outlook-profile

Rollback KB5101650 until we get some more reports and can confirm/deny that it's the culprit.

July 2027 (KB5101650) Broken again. All User is use office 2016 have problem.

With Office 2016 out of support, I'm not sure what else to suggest.

What build of Office you are running? Please open Outlook, click File, Office Account, and under About Outlook what version/build do you have?

If your issue is the same as the Outlook Known Issue then the root cause is from Word, not Windows, https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/Support/known-issues/images-are-not-displayed-in-emails-newsletters-or-signatures-in-classic-outlook.

As best I can tell you have the fixed build. This is the Word July Public Update that should have the fix, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/servicing/office/update/2026/5002890. It shows the version as:

This is the Outlook 2016 July Public Update, https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/servicing/Office/hotfix/outlook/july-1-2025-update-for-outlook-2016-kb5002747

Outlook.exe 16.0.5507.1000.

Based on the versions above and the versions you shared, you should have the fix.

Were you able to verify the issue using the steps in the Known Issue? If you open an affected email, then View Source, and then search on CID do you see an image source similar to: <v:imagedata src=cid:image001.png@01DCE6B1.CF669A40 o:title="" />?

Do you see this issue on new emails? If you had emails that were replies or forwards of existing emails, they will not be fixed by this change. Per the Known Issue: "Images in the original message should be fine once a fix is released for this issue. Replies or Forwards to these messages may permanently lack the image because it did not get included."

If you see this on new emails please open a support case from the M365 admin portal or commercial support. It needs to be a commercial case, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/get-help-support?view=o365-worldwide.

Update 2026-08-07

It is starting to look like the July 2026 update is only breaking older Office versions.

I've worked three cases (two here and one on Reddit) and all are Office 2016. Not seeing Q&A light up like a Christmas Tree with new reports like when the original bug hit, so it doesn't appear to be impacting the current version.

All I can suggest: Submit a Problem report. Rollback, pause updates until next month, and then check to see if it's been fixed.

Based on your description, this sounds like a rendering issue introduced after the July 2026 Office/Windows updates. Since the problem only occurs when you choose Action → Edit Message in Classic Outlook 2016, and images in newsletters, signatures, or tables disappear, there are several things to check.

1. Determine if it's only in Edit Message mode

2. Repair Office

3. Disable Hardware Graphics Acceleration

4. Check Outlook Trust Center

5. Reset Outlook Temporary Cache

          Typical location:

                   %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Content.Outlook\

6. Start Outlook in Safe Mode - Run: outlook.exe /safe

7. Test Word Rendering

8. Verify the email format

After clicking Edit Message, check whether Outlook changes the format:

    Format Text tab →

            ·       HTML (should be selected)

            ·       Not Plain Text

            ·       Not Rich Text (unless expected)

If the message changes to Plain Text, embedded images will not display.
