How can I Disable touchscreen on my Secure access Workstation.

I know you're in a difficult situation, but unfortunately, for managed devices, hardware settings and device drivers are typically controlled by your organization's IT administrators. Particularly, for the scenario you posted (SAW machine, not admin), there generally aren't many simpler alternatives:

• Surface devices do not have a built-in hardware switch or keyboard shortcut to turn off the touchscreen.
• Device Manager is the supported and documented method to disable a touchscreen, by disabling the HID-compliant touch screen device.
• Other options are Group Policy, PowerShell, PnPUtil, registry changes, or device management tools. But those typically require administrative rights as well.

In short, without admin rights, there is not a reliable user-level switch or simple Surface setting that you can use to turn off the touchscreen. The best next step for you right now is:

1. Contact your organization’s IT or SAW support team.
2. Explain that you need the touchscreen disabled on the Surface SAW device.
3. If it is allowed, they can disable HID touch screen or apply the appropriate device policy for you.

I would not recommend trying unofficial workarounds on a SAW machine, because those devices are intentionally restricted and changes may be blocked or reversed by your organization’s security management.
