Copilot stopped working

i tried to talk to copilot yesterday, and it told me that it could not send my message because copilot cannot be reached.

To attach a screenshot, see below:

 

  • Press Windows key + Shift + S together on the keyboard. The screen will dim with overlay. Drag the pointer to take a screenshot.
  • The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard. Please press Ctrl+V in the editor to paste it, then confirm to attach the image.

 

Alternatively, you can press the PrtScn key on the keyboard, if it exists, to directly copy the Entire screen, which you can paste using CTRL+V.

    Hi Roy,

    It gets down due to server issues, but now it is up. Is it working now?

    • Press Win + I → Apps → Installed apps → search "Copilot".
    • Click the three dots next to Copilot → Advanced options.
    • click Reset → confirm (this clears app data).
    • Close Settings, restart Copilot and test.

    I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.

    The second time I did the reset it worked, but only after re-booting my PC.

    What concerns me is that the screen is different from what I'm used to. There are more buttons than before. I believe there was a Microsoft update responsible for all of this.

    I'm just glad to have it back.
