To help narrow down the issue:
- Is the printer showing as connected to your Wi-Fi network already, or is it failing during setup?
- What is the brand and model of the printer? What error message are you getting during setup?
In the meantime, if you haven’t already already:
- Make sure the printer and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network
- Restart the printer, router, and PC
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners
- Remove the printer if it is listed
- Click “Add device” and let Windows search again
If Windows still cannot find it, try installing the latest printer driver/software from the printer manufacturer’s website.
