    Hi,

I'm seeing some recent reports about this as well. However, have you checked whether the update caused Edge to clear data on close? Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data > Choose what to clear every time you close the browser and make sure all options are turned off.

If everything is already turned off, are you using a third-party antivirus program? In some cases, antivirus software can block or clear cookies, which may cause websites to sign you out.

Clearing cookies or cached credentials, or certain sign-in policies, can cause Edge to sign out of all websites when the browser is closed.

Use the following checks in order and test after each step:

    1. Clear cached credentials and cookies once
      • Open Edge and go to edge://settings/privacy.
      • Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
      • Select:
        • Cookies and other site data
        • Cached images and files
      • Set Time range to All time.
      • Select Clear now.
      • Restart Edge, then sign back in to your sites and close/reopen Edge to see if sessions are now preserved.
    2. Verify account sign-in and sync
      • Go to edge://settings/profiles.
      • Make sure the correct profile is signed in and syncing.
      • If sign-in fails, confirm the account works by signing in at the appropriate Microsoft account site as described in the sign-in troubleshooting steps.
    3. Check for policy or security software interference
      • If this is a work or school device, go to edge://policy and check whether any sign-in or cookie policies are enforced by the organization that might clear cookies on exit.
      • Ensure any third-party security software is up to date, as some tools can clear cookies or browsing data automatically.
    4. Repair Edge if the behavior persists
      • Close Edge for all users.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
      • Select Microsoft Edge > Modify.
      • Approve the prompt, ensure the device is online, then select Repair.
      • After repair, sign in to Edge again, reconfigure site logins, and test closing/reopening the browser.

If the issue continues after these steps, collect details (profile type, any policies shown in edge://policy, security software in use) and provide them when contacting support.
