I am not certain what you are asking. Migrating from an Azure Storage General-purpose v1 (GPv1) account to a General-purpose v2 (GPv2) account is typically recommended because GPv2 provides:

    • Lower storage costs (especially for cool/archive tiers)
    • Access to newer Azure features
    • Better lifecycle management
    • Improved monitoring/security capabilities
    • Support for advanced data management and optimization features

Microsoft also strongly recommends moving off GPv1 where possible. Are you trying to migrate and running into errors?
