Hello, My personal Microsoft account ******@gmail.com is being incorrectly treated as a work or school account.

Whenever I try to sign in, I am forced to the login.microsoftonline.com (work/school) login page, even when I choose Personal account. Because of this, I cannot access the correct page at https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info (mysignins.microsoft.com in Bing) to add a phone number or manage my sign‑in methods.

Please can you check your system and remove any organisational or Entra ID (Azure AD) identity that has been mistakenly attached to my email address. This account should be a personal Microsoft account only, not a work/school one.

Thank you.

    Hello,

You said whenever you tried to sign in you were forced to the work/school link, where did you sign in initially, from an app? Or were you using https://account.live.com but it redirects you?

Can you please sign into https://portal.azure.com

Then click on Manage Entra ID

    Then click on Manage tenants.

Do you see the organization listed? If so, check the box and click on "Leave". Does it let you leave?
