I am unable to transfer an App Service Domain out to an external registrar

I need to transfer out ~20 app service domains to an external registrar (Cloudflare). I can successfully invoke the transfer out API as recommended to generate an authorization code, however, Cloudflare first requires changes to DNS that are restricted on Azure (changing first and second NS records for the domain in question). I have seen further guidance that suggests making the required changes directly through GoDaddy here: https://dcc.secureserver.net/domains since the Advanced Management Portal feature in the Azure portal is no longer available. However, I have been unable to determine the credentials to use to log in to GoDaddy - I do not know the username and/or email address that is associated with the underlying account that Azure uses for my App Service Domain registrations. I have tried several potential email addresses associated with my Azure login and the App Service Domain, however, I never receive a confirmation email with my username.

    Hi Joe,

My recommendation is to first transfer to different registrar, once transfer is complete, change name servers to Cloudflare, wait 60 days, then transfer to Cloudflare. In this way you can have the domain active on Cloudflare in about 1-2 weeks, depending on how fast transfer completes.

Yes, I know it is extra step, but the capability to access GoDaddy DCC to modify App Service Domains hasn't worked for a long time now, unfortunately. Over the years I created script to allow you to access it, then when Microsoft removed necessary REST API I used password reset "trick", now nothing works (that I know of).

The above plus other reasons is why I no longer recommend people use App Service Domains.
