Can't download AC Black Flag, and some other games

After pressin Install on AC Black Flag I get the simple message "Content failed to load.". I tried a lot of things, for example: I tried Relinking my Ubisoft Connect PC app, I reset and also repaired it in the Installed Apps, I tried downloading it on another device (also the same message), I checked if any services were not running (they were), I tried installing it on Microsoft Store which just sends me back to the Xbox App. I tried to simply just restart everything including my PC, but to also no evail.User's image

    Hi Szabolcs

    I understand how frustrating this is, especially after trying so many fixes already and still getting blocked from installing the game.

    Please give these steps a try:

    1. Re-link your accounts
      • Go to Ubisoft account settings in a browser
      • Unlink your Xbox account → link it again
      • This refreshes Game Pass access to Ubisoft titles
    2. Check account consistency
      • Make sure the same Microsoft account is signed into:
        • Xbox app
        • Microsoft Store
      • Confirm your Game Pass is active
    3. Open Ubisoft Connect directly
      • Check if the game shows in your Ubisoft library
      • If it does → install from there instead
    4. Check service status
      • If Xbox or Ubisoft services are having issues, installs can fail entirely

    If the issue happens across devices, it’s almost always a linking/account problem or backend service issue, not something local.
