    Hello Valdo,

Based on the information shared, since the exact error message has not yet been provided, we are currently unable to determine the precise root cause of the Ubuntu VM deployment failure.

The issue is most likely related to regional availability or subscription restrictions for the Standard_B1s VM size. Additionally, the legacy B-series (v1) VM sizes, including Standard_B1s, are part of the Azure VM series planned for retirement, and availability for new deployments is already limited in several regions.

Due to this, deployments may fail in certain regions, especially for Free Trial or restricted subscription types, because of capacity constraints, quota limitations, or SKU availability restrictions.

    As a recommendation, please try:

    • Deploying the VM using a newer VM size such as the Bsv2 series
    • Attempting deployment in an alternate Azure region

hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any queries in comments
