Team,

I had a query from one of my customers on this announcement:

https://devblogs.microsoft.com/microsoft365dev/prepare-your-addin-for-outlook-ribbon-improvements/

  1. Advise what version / release this will impact
  2. when these changes are likely to be implemented,
  3. and into which release(s)?

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Madhav Lakshminarayanan

Thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Q&A Forum.

Based on my research, Microsoft has shared general guidance for Outlook add-in developers to prepare for upcoming changes to the ribbon experience. However, details such as the affected Outlook versions, release channels, build numbers, rollout timeline, and implementation schedule for these improvements have not yet been published.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information, we recommend continuing to monitor the official Microsoft 365 Developer Blog and Microsoft 365 release notes for future announcements regarding deployment details.

Please understand that this is a public peer-to-peer community forum. While moderators and community members can share guidance and experiences, we do not have access to internal rollout schedules, unpublished release timelines, or confidential product roadmap information.

    Thank you for your understanding.
