I can't redeem my Azure Sponsorship credit because my billing profile is not active

Hi Microsoft Support, I opened a support ticket two weeks ago and haven't received a response, so I am posting my request here. I received an Azure Sponsorship credit, but I am unable to redeem it because it indicates that my profile is not active. I have attached a screenshot of the error.

Thanks

Nicolas

The Azure Sponsorship credit can only be redeemed to an eligible, active billing profile. When the selected billing profile is not active, redemption fails and the portal shows an error like in the screenshot.

To proceed, use or create an eligible billing profile and then redeem again:

    1. Verify that the billing profile used for redemption is of type MCA standard or MCA premier, is under the same MCA Billing Account that was used to purchase/receive the offer, and does not already have active Azure credits from another membership or sponsorship.
    2. If the current billing profile is inactive or otherwise ineligible, create a new MCA Billing Profile under the same Billing Account and ensure it has a valid payment method attached.
    3. In the Azure portal, move or create subscriptions under this new active billing profile if needed.
    4. Return to the sponsorship/credit redemption experience and select this active, eligible billing profile to complete the deposit.

If no existing billing profile is eligible or activation of a new profile is failing, open or update an Azure support request from Help + support in the Azure portal so support can correct the billing profile state and help complete the redemption.
