I have Windows 11 PRO (25H2 Bld-26200.8328)
Windows Update installed KB5083631 (2026-04 Preview Update) yesterday - and now, very annoyingly, ALL open APP Windows just randomly minimise together just revealing desktops.
I have a Surface PRO laptop with a 2nd connected monitor (via a Surface Thunderbolt 4 dock). Absolutely no issues prior to this update being applied.
Anyone else experiencing this (or have any resolution suggestions). Otherwise I will see if I can remove it.

So far there is no known issues (like which you referred) with the KB5083631 (2026-04 Preview Update).
This is the quickest way to confirm it’s the cause.
Go to:
Settings → Windows Update → Update history → Uninstall updates
Remove: KB5083631
Restart
See if the issue disappears
Also:
Go to:
Settings → System → Multitasking
Turn OFF: “Title bar window shake”

I am having the same problem. Apps closing, internet failing. I'm using an Alienware M17 and I have to restart my computer every 30 minutes just to get to this message. I'm constantly logged out of Microsoft every 30 minutes, Word crashes and doesn't save my files, I'm connected to an ethernet cable and OneDrive won't connect. This is getting insane! Someone needs to fix this ASAP before I throw this computer through a window.
