Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
When clicking on search results in Edge there is a bing popup, perhaps website security or verification, when clicking on search result. What is it and how do I get rid of it?
Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 11
Hello Ed Scott,
Thanks for replying.
Per the image you sent, if you are wondering about the bing.com address below. This is simply Bing redirect link for your website. When you click on a search results, the browser will take you to this link first and then redirect you to your destination link.
This address means to indicate where you get to the link from. This is very useful for data analytics for those websites, so you cannot remove it. I hope this clarifies.
